Business Unit Head - Rare Disease
Typical Accountabilities:
- Leads and develops the sales and marketing teams including but not limited to performance management, talent management and career development
- Leads activities across brands, including the definition, design, execution and measurement of all marketing strategies and tactics to deliver on the brands’ objectives
- Responsible for sales execution within geography
- Responsible for budgetary compliance
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA in a relevant field.
- 7–10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in rare diseases, oncology, specialty care, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing and/or promotional activities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, develop, and lead teams.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare and/or managed markets.
- Experience in sales and/or sales leadership.
- Comprehensive understanding of the local and global healthcare environment.
- Proven track record of success in healthcare business management and commercial performance.
